This year in year 8 we went to Rayong for our residential, it was great fun. We started activities straight away. The first activity we did was the mangrove hike, it was an hour and twenty minutes long. We saw many of the animals we learnt about at school like the mudskipper, fiddler crab and pit viper, the guide said that we were very lucky to see the pit viper as they were very rare to spot. After the mangrove visit we went to the turtle conservation centre, everybody was excited. I guess we underestimated the clean up! We thought it was only wiping the walls from the outside, but it wasn’t! We had to get in the pool and scrub the floors hard. After the aquarium visit everyone had gotten the fright of their lives after the day we headed to the hotel. We settled into our rooms and had some free time. The next few days we were having lots of fun but half of Y8 were homesick..

On the second day we had what everyone was dreading… The Beach Clean Up! We had to wear proper shoes so that nothing sharp stuck under our foot. We collected 2 kg of trash more than last year!

The final score was 21 – 9, we had 21 they had 9. IT was a tense match, but Mr. Thompson kept us going, he said is was a beatable match and it was. Many fouls were given and many shots were won, many of the points were scored by Mark, Ozone and Victor, Victor had even scored a three point shot!

In my opinion I phone is better but that is only my perception of things. Apple vs. Samsung is a very heated and popular topic to discuss. The Android is selling more smart phones than the IOS in the world but the IOS triumphs in selling tablets Apple is making more money than the Android in selling smart phones, they both have the same number of apps in their stores but the IOS is making more money from the apps, survey also shows that the IOS has better quality apps! the IOS gets used the most on the internet. The IOS gets used the most so which is better I Phone or Android? On some level, it’s too crude a question to take very seriously but financially the I Phone, and market share the Android
