Monday Oct. 5th

Dinner – Green Salad, Red Wine vin, Lemon Caper Chicken/Tofu, Mixed Roasted Veg, Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Simple, delicious comfort food.
Dessert – Pumpkin Spice Cake

Tuesday Oct. 6th

Lunch – Teriyaki Stir Fry. Bok Choy, Broccoli, Carrot, Scallion, Ginger, Garlic among others come together in this Japanese dish w/ Shrimp/ Tofu – VEGAN
Dessert – Coconut Cookies

Dinner – Green Salad, Dill vin., Charred Salmon and Gemeli Pasta w/ Citrus Fennel Cream Sauce. Lemon and Fennel compliment each other and enhance the natural flavor of the Salmon. Veg version w/ Tofu
Dessert – Apple Spice Cake

Wednesday Oct 7th

Star and Crescent Opens this Week!

The Star and Crescent, located in Alpha Delta Phi (185 High Street, next to 200 Church), is opening this week! Starting on Tuesday Night, the S&C will be open Mondays through Thursday for dinner (starting at 5) and Tuesday through Thursday for lunch (starting at noon).  Dinner costs 10 points, and lunch costs 8. And, as always the first 3 freshman through the door eat free.

Dinner – Green salad Creamy Cilantro Dressing, Mole Chicken/ Tofu, Corn, Mushroom and Zucchini sauté, Black Beans and Rice

Wednesday, September 16th

Missing Puppet Heads

Lindsay Wright ’10 sends some rather distressing news:

Two Puppet heads (a Boar and a Bulldog, pictured above) have gone missing from the theater loading dock Yesterday, Monday 08/31/09. They represent a great deal of summer labor and are essential to the theater department fall production.

If you have any information that will lead to their recovery, please call the costume shop at (860) 685-3418 or, if you possess them, return them into the costume shop in the Theater building (room 25), no questions asked.

Marble Stairs of Death Are Gone: An Alliterative Report.

The steep stairs next to Davenport/Allbritton leading to Church Street, a terribly treacherous trod due to their supernaturally slippery steps, have been remarkably and reliably replaced by a winding, walkable walkway. Often the cause of many tosses and tumbles, this precarious pass was of suspect safety, before the courageous construction of the landscaped lane.
